Seneca Telecommunications’ senior leadership and Board team consists of proven senior executives, program managers and industry experts, each with decades of experience managing and deploying successful, complex projects in the telecommunications, information technology and operations support and the Government contracting sectors.
Mark Baines, President
Mark Baines is the President of Seneca Telecommunications where he is helping to provide superior operational expertise coupled with significant educational knowledge to grow business and expand the employment opportunities for members of the Seneca Nation of Indians.
Prior to working with Seneca Telecommunications, Mr. Baines had a successful 30 year Military career where he served as Commandant of the NATO School. As a United States Army Colonel, he commanded a staff and faculty of over 200 personnel representing 26 different NATO and Partnership for Peace nations, and was responsible for all aspects of NATO School's operations.
Mr. Baines background in IT extends to his work as a former Signal Corps Officer in the Army where he was an experienced Information Technology (IT) professional with strong leadership, organizational and planning skills. He also oversaw federal contracting in Information Technology through the U.S Military.
Mr. Baines is originally from New Hampshire and received his B.A in Criminal Justice from Norwich University. He also holds a M.S in Administration from Central Michigan University and a M.S in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S Army War College.
Mr. Baines has a unique set of abilities to achieve success for Seneca Telecommunications while doing the same for the Seneca Nation of Indians.
